1. Paper Trading Only
PaperTrade Arena is a paper trading simulator. All trading activity on this platform uses virtual paper cash only.
PaperTrade Arena does not:
- Execute real buy or sell orders on any stock exchange
- Connect to any brokerage (e.g. IBKR, Alpaca, Robinhood, Schwab)
- Handle, hold, or transfer real funds
- Generate real investment returns
Simulated trading results on PaperTrade Arena have no relationship to real-world financial performance.
2. Not Investment Advice
Nothing on PaperTrade Arena constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial product.
PaperTrade Arena is not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or FINRA as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or any regulated financial entity. We provide a paper trading simulation and educational platform only.
Always consult a licensed financial professional before making real investment decisions. Past simulated performance does not indicate future real results.
3. Market Data — Delayed and Informational Only
PaperTrade Arena sources market data from Yahoo Finance via the yfinance library. Specifically:
- Live prices — sourced from Yahoo Finance and are typically 15 minutes delayed. They are not real-time exchange prices and must not be used for actual trading decisions.
- Historical OHLCV data — sourced from Yahoo Finance via yfinance. Accuracy and completeness may vary.
- Market news — sourced from Yahoo Finance RSS. Not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, or timely.
- Analyst ratings, earnings, price targets, upgrades/downgrades — sourced from Yahoo Finance via yfinance. May lag official announcements.
- Insider activity, institutional holdings, mutual fund holders, SEC filings — sourced from Yahoo Finance via yfinance (13F filings, EDGAR links). Filing dates may lag by up to 45 days.
- Options chain — real bid/ask/IV/volume/OI sourced from Yahoo Finance. Greeks are not available. Not suitable for real options trading decisions.
- Paper trade fills — simulated against delayed prices. Fill prices do not reflect real exchange execution or order book depth.
PaperTrade Arena is not licensed by Polygon, Finnhub, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or any professional real-time market data provider. Yahoo Finance data is provided under their terms of service for non-commercial, educational use. Data displayed does not reflect current or accurate real-market conditions and must not be relied upon for investment decisions.
4. AI Features — Static Demo Output
PaperTrade Arena includes pages labelled "AI Market Summary," "AI Trade Journal," "Backtesting," and "Strategy Builder."
These features are static demo output. They are not generated by a live AI model (such as GPT-4 or Claude). No AI API (OpenAI, Anthropic, or other) is connected. The content displayed is pre-written mock data used to demonstrate the intended feature design.
These features are not investment recommendations. They should not be used as a basis for real trading decisions.
5. Demo Billing — No Real Payments
The billing and subscription features on PaperTrade Arena are a demonstration only. No live payment processor is integrated at this time. Paddle has been selected as the future billing provider but is not yet active. No real charges occur at any point during demo or beta.
Entering pricing or checkout pages does not create any financial obligation. Any prices shown are illustrative of the planned subscription model only.
6. Virtual Rewards and Paper Cash
All XP, levels, paper cash, game cash, coins, reward credits, badges, profile frames, and challenge rewards are virtual only. They have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for real money, or transferred to any financial account.
7. External Integrations — Not Connected
The following integrations are not wired in the current demo/beta version:
- Stripe — payment processing not active
- OpenAI / Anthropic — no AI API connected
- SendGrid / Resend / Twilio — email and SMS notifications not sent
- Polygon / Finnhub / Alpaca — no real market data feed
- PDF export — not yet implemented (CSV export of your own data is available in Settings → Account)
These integrations are planned for future production phases. Their presence in the UI reflects intended functionality, not current capability.

PaperTrade Arena is provided for educational and simulation purposes only. We make no warranty that the platform will be error-free or that simulation results accurately model any real market.
