1. What PaperTrade Arena Is

PaperTrade Arena is a paper trading simulator and educational learning platform. It is designed to help people practice trading strategies and learn about financial markets using virtual funds only.

PaperTrade Arena is not a brokerage. It is not a licensed investment adviser. It does not execute real trades, place orders with any exchange, or handle real money in any form.

All market data displayed on PaperTrade Arena is synthetic or static demo data. It does not represent real-time prices from any exchange and is not suitable for making real investment decisions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PaperTrade Arena, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PaperTrade Arena. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

PaperTrade Arena is intended for educational and simulation use. It is not designed for or directed at professional investment management.

4. Not Investment Advice

Nothing on PaperTrade Arena constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, asset, or financial product.

All simulated trading activity, AI-generated summaries, research reports, and strategy suggestions are for educational and entertainment purposes only. They are based on synthetic or static data and do not reflect real market conditions.

You are solely responsible for your own real investment decisions. Consult a licensed financial professional for real investment advice.

5. Virtual Rewards and Paper Cash

PaperTrade Arena includes a virtual economy: paper cash, game cash, XP, levels, coins, reward credits, badges, profile frames, challenge rewards, and store add-ons.

All virtual items and balances:

• Have no monetary or cash value
• Cannot be withdrawn, transferred to a bank account, or redeemed for real money
• Cannot be exchanged for real securities, assets, or goods outside the platform
• Are not investment returns and do not represent any real financial performance
• May be adjusted, reset, or removed as part of platform operation

6. Billing and Subscriptions (Demo / Beta)

PaperTrade Arena displays subscription plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Elite) with associated pricing. During the current demo and beta phase:

• No real payment is collected. There is no active payment processor. Paddle has been selected as the future billing provider but is not yet integrated.
• The checkout flow is a demonstration only. Entering any card or payment information is not required and will not be processed.
• Plan upgrades during demo/beta are simulated and affect only your in-app experience.
• There is no real billing relationship, no subscription contract, and no cancellation obligation at this time.
• Discount codes shown in the checkout are demo codes with no monetary value.

These terms will be updated when real billing is activated. You will be notified before any real charges apply.

7. Community Conduct

PaperTrade Arena includes a community feature for sharing trading ideas, posts, and comments. You agree not to:

• Post content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Share real financial advice or position recommendations as if they were guaranteed
• Post spam, advertising, or misleading content
• Impersonate other users or individuals
• Post content that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to manipulate platform scores, XP, or leaderboards through automated or abusive means

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

8. Your Data

PaperTrade Arena stores account information, trading activity, preferences, and community content to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect, how it is used, and how to request deletion.

9. Disclaimers

PaperTrade Arena is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that simulation results will be accurate representations of real market behavior.

Market data is synthetic or static. It does not reflect real exchange prices, and past simulated performance does not indicate future real-world results.

AI-generated summaries and strategy suggestions are static demo output. They are not produced by a live AI model and are not investment recommendations. See our Disclaimer for full details.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaperTrade Arena and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to:

• Any real investment decisions made based on simulated results or content on the platform
• Loss of virtual rewards, XP, or paper cash due to resets, errors, or platform changes
• Inaccuracies in simulated market data
• Service interruptions or data loss

Your use of this platform is at your own risk.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. The specific jurisdiction will be determined prior to production launch following legal review.
